I deleted my old account, and just got a new one. I absoluetly hate the new setup of myspace (the homepage). I dont see an option to change it, the only thing I see is "page themes", but that just makes a "pretty backround." Is there any way to get back to the original?

Just click on the words "Page Themes" near the top right of the page. This takes you to where you can choose your page theme background if you are using a theme, and in that page theme bar, top left - you'll see where it says "back to classic view". Just click that and you'll have the original like you want! (I wasn't sure I liked the new theme either at first, but after I used it a few times - I love it now! You can see your friends status right up top and then their updates and then the bulletins right below that - so give it a few days before hating it!) But if you really want to change back, just do as I explained above, and good luck with it all!

Omg I hate it too.
click on page themes button and at the top left hand side of the page themes box it'll say Page Themes and in smaller words next to it it says switch back to classic view
