On Myspace, do you get the 'new messages' alert when you get mails from 'Tom' ?!

There's a mail from Tom going around about them deleting unused profiles. I had the mail in my inbox, but didn't have the red 'new messages' alert on my homepage.

Is this the same for everyone or has something gone wrong here?

No, that means that your account has not been used enough, therefore it is marked as an unused profile. You're profile is going to get deleted. Say goodbye to your myspace!

Sometimes it doesn't work..but check your

mail often.

there's no email going around about tom deleting unused profiles, if you read his announcements, it says that they're all fake. so i wouldn't worry about it. :)
