I know this isnt a question but some of the new breastfeeding moms may be able to get better answers here:

A couple of us thought it would be cool to start a myspace page for breastfeeders and supporters. we are trying to get as many people as we can to show that breastfeeding is still supported and not as rare as some people may think. we are welcoming everyone, past, present, future and hopefuls, as well as the supporters. so show some love and add us! This page has a ton of educational links, from latching and weaning, how your diet affects your milk, to your rights as a breastfeeding mother in your state. We have a ton of support if you need it and a ton of experienced moms.

in addition to the breastfeeders page we now have a group. It was created for you to post questions, swap advice, share stories or just vent. http://groups.myspace.com/mamasmilkbar.....

we have 188 experienced breastfeeders on the page and 127 in the group!

Great idea!! I'm almost done breastfeeding my second baby, I would have loved to have some support, I'm sure this will come in very handy for many mommies out there.

i have never had anyone say anything to me bad about it.

i have tons of support for mine

this web site is a great idea for those moms that dont' have the support i do.

I am so happy to see this information available for help and education. I have 4 children and I am preg with #5, I have nursed them all. My 4 year old nursed until 18 months, I am now weening my 1 yr old, she is only nursing in the mornings now. I have had great experiences with all of them, it is the best way to feed your baby if you are not ingesting any harmful substances. I have seen women who smoke and drink nursing their baby's, please if your life style is more important than nursing your baby please bottle feed them it is better.

I always tell new moms it is so much easier in the middle of the night when you are tired and the baby is screaming, to nurse than heating a bottle, it can take some time and cause you stress while you prepare it, your baby just knows he/she is hungry now and they don't want to wait. Nothing is better for the both of you than sitting in a nice comfortable chair cuddling while your baby feeds. It relieves stress for you both as well as giving you quiet moments with your baby you will never forget your whole life long.
